Basic Sewing for Adults

This 6 week course will focus on the fundamentals of sewing. Participants will become familiar with a sewing machine, basic pattern layout, fabric cutting, essential construction skills and finishing techniques. The class will be project based, but won't be your typical home-ec pajama pants! Rudimentary tools will be provided and sewing machines are available to those who need them, however, if you have your own it is suggested to bring it to familiarize yourself with it. Students will need to purchase their own fabric and are encouraged to bring their own tools. A list of recommended tools and fabric will be provided upon registration.
