Carbondale Arts will hold its annual youth fashion and sewing classes for youth ages 9 to 14 on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:30 to 5:30p.m., January 9 through February 1 at the Sol Theater Classroom in The Third Street Center (Suite 12, 520 S 3rd St, Carbondale). Students have the option of signing up for Tuesdays only (once a week) or Tuesdays and Thursdays (twice a week). Instructor Shannon Muse will introduce students to beginning and intermediate techniques that will help students build the constructive skills they need to create wearable clothing and beyond!  Students can design and construct three to four different looks and push themselves creatively to delve into fabulous. Always wanted to be a superhero or build an animal mask? Now is your chance to think outside the box. All looks will be featured in the Cirque D’Sopris Show on Feb. 10 and 11. There is an additional materials fee of $25.
