Art Heist: Wild Wild West

We're heading to the Wild Wild West!

The Launchpad, home of Carbondale Arts and Dance Initiative, is excited to host our second lively and interactive fundraiser ART HEIST: WILD WILD WEST on Sunday evening, October 13! Participants will have the chance to steal great artwork right off the walls of the R2 Gallery! But your fellow outlaws can't be trusted because what you steal can be stolen back from you! This will no doubt be a thrilling evening of high jinks all in the name of love for this "space for the arts". In addition to the heist, guests will enjoy cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, alluring entertainment, and dinner, music and cowboy card games later at The Way Home.

The evening will begin at 4pm in the R2 Gallery with a Champagne Preview for our outlaws. At 4:30pm, we invite all guests (outlaws or not) to preview the art in our gallery. At 5pm, enjoy a cocktail party sponsored by Woody Creek Distillers with appetizers by Slow Groovin' BBQ, live music, surprise entertainment and of course, the Art Heist. Around 7pm, guests will transition to The Way Home for dinner, music and a little cowboy cards. Western dress encouraged.

4:00pm: R2 Gallery Champagne Preview for our outlaws

4:30pm: All guests (outlaws or not) invited to preview the art in the gallery.

5:00pm: Cocktail party sponsored by Woody Creek Distillers with apps by Slow Groovin' BBQ, live music, surprise entertainment and of course, the Art Heist!

7:00pm After Party: Transition to The Way Home (689 Main St) for an after party, dinner, music and a little cowboy cards.
Western dress encouraged!
